Arsenal looses Carling cup final

After six years without glory Arsenal again failed to bring a trophy to home, Arsenal dominates the the game from the start but they failed to convert half chances to goals. And also due to some extra ordinary saves by Ben Foster all of the Arsenal's attempts to score second goal were ruined.

Birmingham City striker Nikola Zigic headed Birmingham in front on the 28 minutes, but Robin Van Persie equalized the score with a fine volley.

It was Arsenal who dominated the second half and played a very calculated football but all of their efforts were saved by blues goal keeper Ben Foster. And in the last minute of the second half a mistake by reds defender and goalkeeper was very well cashed by on loan striker Martins which gives blues the glory they deserved.

Ancelotti on brink of being sack

After a worst Premier league run by Chelsea in Premier league since ten years and an early from Carling Cup and FA Cup, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is under intense pressure and on the brink of being sacked.

Chelsea invested 74 million during the winter transfer window on two players Fernando Torres and David Luiz. But Italian manager made a mistake by making the debut of Torres against his own club, Torres looks under too much pressure since joining Chelsea and is unable to justify his price tag of 50 million.

Carlo Ancelotti helps Chelsea to win the double during the last season but if Chelsea keep on playing like they have played throughout the season their Champions league spot will be in danger.
