Fulham's star defender Chris Baird has signed a new deal until the summer of 2013.
The Irish international, who was signed from Southampton in the summer of 2007, played a key role as Fulham make their way to the Europa League final last season.
Baird made his first appearance under Fulham's manager Mark Hughes at the weekend when he appeared as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 win over Wolves.
Baird, 28, showed his versatility last season by filling a midfield role while Dickson Etuhu and Danny Murphy were missing through injury.
