A story of good luck and bad luck

Well the 18 time BPL champs started their first game at Craven Cottage with lot of ups and down. Well as per expectations it was thought that MU will undoubtly overcomer their competators with ese. But fate had something else to say. As with the kick off MU started to dominate the game and started to make some impressive moves which result in scholes's trumendus shot from 25 yards which found the right corner of the net. With this MU started to dominate the game throughout the 1st half.

But with the end of 1st half things started to change a little bit. With the start of 2nd half Mark Hughes men bounce back with a superb move by Evra before he found Zamora who ultimately pass the ball to walves midfilder Davis who had all the time to pick a sweet spot to bring back The Cottagers in the game. Well now the scores are level. MU made their 1st sustitute with Nani which begain to look right as he started to make a brilliant impact on the game. He was stating to look dangerous which proved to be vital when in 83 minutes his innocent looking corner find the back of the net with the help of Hangeland. So now MU were back in business. Well there good luck didn't came to end when until in 86th minute Duff unintentional handled the ball which result in plenty. Well at this point one would think that mu had surely score the goal and would have increase their lead by two goals. But sorry to say this plenty started to prove bad luck for them. With Nani simply missing the plenty and no doubt a great save by Stockdale and the Fortuna left MU side. But Fortuna didn't left the game she join the side of Hangeland and Duff and gave them a chance to amends their errors. Fulham won a corner with only 1 min remaining on the clock. With an impressive shot by Duff from the corner at which Hangeland jumped and guided the ball to home. So in the end a game which was expected to be one sided proved something else.

Peace :)

New Premier League Rules

New Premier league rules have become headache for most of the Premier league managers this season.

According to new Premier league rules each club must announce its 25 man squad before the end of every transfer window. Managers will be allowed to change the squad only during the transfer window with provisional rule in place for extenuating circumstances (like Goal keeper Crisis).

In addition club must register a 25 man squad which must include eight 'home-grown' players, meaning that they have been associated with the FA or Welsh FA for three seasons (or 36 months) prior to their 21st birthday. And home grown does not refer nationality, simply how much years they have spend in England as a youngster.

And club can also supplement squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21.

These rules applies to only Premier league matches and does not apply on Champions League, Carling cup or FA.

The new Premier league rules were imposed soon after the England's second world early exit. In theory these new rules will help to groom the young talent in house rather than buying expensive foreign players.

The prices increases in the market after Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid spend a massive amount in the last season. Only Manchester City Spend more the 150 Million Pounds during the last three seasons.

Richard Scudamore, Chief Executive of the Premier League, said: 'It encourages youth development and promotion of young players, but this is nowhere near a nationality test'.

Now it would be interesting to see how Premier league clubs manages them-self according to new Premier League rules.

Mancini with Money at Mancity

Manchester City is the only club in Premier league spending more than 50 million in two consecutive seasons. During the last transfer season Manchester city buy four strikers Emmanuel Adabayor (Arsenal, £25 million), Craig Bellamy (West ham, £12 million), Santacruz (Blackburn, £17 million) and Carlos Tavez (Manchester United, £25 million). Even with so much fire power they were unable to qualify for Champians League spot without winning the single trophy last season.

During the current transfer window till now Manchester City have invested more than £75 million and signed Yaya Toure (Barcelona, £28 million), David Silva(£24 million, Valencia ), Jerome Boatang (Hamburg, £11 million), Aleksandar Kolarov (Lazio, £16 million), Alex Henshall (Swindon, £250,000), Albert Rusnak ( MFK Koviec, £18) and reports suggests that they are also chasing Mario Balotelli who is currently with Inter milan.

Manchester City have another highly rated striker in their pockets, Robinho who cost them the massive £35 million but during last season he was send on loan to Santos........!

Roberto Mancini the current Manchester City manager took charge of the club when Mark Hughes was sacked by the club owner during last season and since then the new Italian manager is trying to make his impact on the club.

With too much stars in the club it would very interesting to see how Mancini manages his squad. The situation at Eastland doesn't looks good. During the last two years there are lot of changes recorded in the squad. And if Mancini wants to achieve some results this season, somebody Please tell him he can not win matches on the basis of star players at Eastland.

Another problem that all Premier League managers are currently facing is the New Premier League rules, according to which at the close of each transfer window a club must announce the squad list of 25 players.

Not only that, Eight of these players must be "home grown", meaning they have been associated with the FA or Welsh FA for three seasons (or 36 months) prior to their 21st birthday. And Home-grown does not refer to nationality, simply how many years they have spent in England as a youngster.

Now it would be interesting to see how Mancini manages his squad according to the New Premier League rules.

Bayern Munich begins with silver cup

Confirming their position as the strongest team in the Liga the bayern munich clinched the top spot in the recently revived Super cup DFL, after a gap of fourteen years.
Schalke's defence gave way to the german worldcup players on the FCB. Goals by Muller and finally by Klose sealed the fate of the Supercup final.

The paced of the game was good in the first half even though there were some attempts on the goal, but still non of the teams could find any break through. It was in the second half that the game heated up to energize the crowd of 25,000 in impuls arena. An attempt on goal with schweinsteiger passing the ball to klose who in his stride rattled the goal post. Schalke counter-attacked with dazzling fury only to be thrawted by Kraft. It was only on the 75th minute that the breakthrough was acheived by the FCB when Muller Steered the pass by Klose into empty net.
Schalke barely had recovered when Klose struck in a counter attack, to seal the fate of the match.

Last but not the least it seems that FCB flexed the german muscle it has, giving them a morale boost over the other Liga teams.

Mourinho will start Mind games soon..

Portugal national Jose Mourinho resigns as a coach of Inter Milan after winning the Champions League with the Seria A club, and become the first manager to win the title for two different clubs.

The most important thing about Mourinho’s management is the understanding of the situation and his reaction according to it. We saw in champions league how he trained his squad and change the strategies according to the requirement of the situation in the crunch match against Spanish giants Barcelona and his former

club Chelsea.

Before Inter Milan he wins the grand Champions League title with FC Porto in 2003.During his football career he managed some very good clubs like Benfica, FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and now he has signed a four year deal with the Spanish club Real Madrid.

Real Madrid make huge spending during the last transfer window and grabbed some very good star players like Cristiana Ronaldo(Manchester United ), Kaka (AC Milan), Karim Benzima (Lyon), Arbeloa(LiverPool) , Xavi Alonso(Liverpool) but the former Madrid manager failed to impress the fans and the management at Real Madrid and they have spend yet another trophy less season.

After the Mourinho’s impressive season at Inter Milan, many clubs were reported to seek the services of Portuguese International but he chooses to go with Real Madrid and signed a four year deal with Spanish giants.

At Real Madrid Mourinho’s biggest threat would be FC Barcelona. Till now Mourinho has signed the German international Sami Khedira Stuttgart (€12m, Stuttgart), with a fee reported 14 million euro, Angel Di maria(€25m, Benfica), Miguel Palanca (loan return, CD Castellon), Pedro Leon (€10m, Getafe). Mourinho has also show a desire to sign another striker this season.

After signing with the Spanish club Mourinho tried to grab Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole and Ricardo Carvalho from his former club Chelsea FC. But the current Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelloti has made it clear that he would not entertain any offer for the above mention Chelsea players.

Now it will be interesting to see how Barcelona managed to react on Mourinho’s mind games …!

All about Spurs...!

Spurs looking to strengthen their squad without spending too much in summer transfer window.

Spurs's manager showed interest in some promising individuals, but he admits that he is unable to pay the price...!

Spurs finished at fourth in Premier League last season and qualify for the Champions League football. During 2009-2010 season Tottenham outclass the Premier league giants Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester city.

Currently Spurs have reported some major issues in the heart of their defense. The two experienced central defenders are injured and one of them is not looking good to start this season. Jonathan Woodgate played only three games last season and missed the rest of the season due to serious groin injury. The England international traveled to New York for physiotherapy and Australia for surgery in order to get rid of injury and is a huge possibility that he would not be the part of Spurs 25 man squad this season.

where as on the other end Spurs most experienced defender is also injured but according to reports he will be fit in three week time. In the absence of Woodgate Spurs are most likely to bring his replacement.

Unlike Manchester City Spurs are confident to strengthen their squad but without spending too much money.

If we look at the midfield and forward lineup of Tottenham it is far better from remaining Premier league clubs but in order to achieve something they have to be consistent.
