Liverpool's worst nightmare

Liverpool had a new set back after they loose 2-1 against newly promoted Blackpool. Blackpool has a first double over Liverpool since 1946-47.

New Liverpool manager Kenny Danglish had a very poor start since he returns as a Liverpool manager almost after two decades. Liverpool started the match with an early strike from Fernando Torres but after that they were pushed to back foot and played awful football.

Danglish started the game with two Premier League's highly uncreative midfielders Poulson and Lucas, this decision hurts Liverpool badly and the other bad experiment was to play Glen Johnson at left back. We have seen throughout the season Liverpool starts the game with one striker up front and same trend was also followed in the game against Blackpool.

Danglish has been offered the post of Liverpool manager temporarily and if they keep on playing like this he will also be shown the back door soon.

Despite have too many players Liverpool are still missing the magical touch that they had under Benitez. Alberto Aqualani who was signed from AS Roma in the last season was loaned out to Juventus after he returns from injury. This was also one the decision the hurts Liverpool. Despite have high quality and world class players like Steven Gerrad, Jamie Carragher, Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina, Glen Johnson and Joe Cole they are still not looking to finish the season in the top 10.
