Rooney saga is finally over

After a hactic couple of weeks for Manchester United fan's and Sir Alex Ferguson, finally Wayne Ronney has decided to stay at Old trafford. On friday Ronney signed a five years contract with the reds which would keep him at Old trafford till 2015.

One of the reason for the stricker not agreeng terms with the current clubs was the lack of investment in the current squad.

Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted Manchester United have been hurt by the staggering turn of events this week.

Wayne Rooney has apologised to his manager and team-mates for the negative headlines he brought to Old Trafford this week.

The news finally came with official confirmation that 24-year old had signed a five year extension. Which commets Rooney until 2015 and also makes him the highest paid player in the Manchester United history with a wage to be around £ 150,000 a week.

Now it would be interesting to see how Wayne Rooney justify his wage with his current form.
