World class Van der sar set to retire....!

Former Ajax and current Manchester united goal keeper Edwin Van der sar is set to retire at the end of this season. The Dutchman turned 40 later this month and Eric Steele has hinted he has already made his mind up to call it a day at the end of season.

Van der sar started his senior career with Ajax and remained there for nine years before moving to Italian club Juventus and then to England first to Fulham and then to Manchester United. He is in one of few footballers of the world who has won Champions League with two different Clubs. Having it won with Ajax in 1995 and then with Manchester United in 2008. Van der sar was named best European goal keeper twice during his career in 1995 and 2009.

Van der sar emerged as a legend for Manchester United Since his arrival to the club, he won the hearts of the people all over the world with his extreme performances and talent. H saved United on several occasions. Now it would be interesting to see who would be Sir Alex Ferguson's No.1 choice after Van der sar retirement.
